You're Being Selfish! And it Needs to Stop... NOW!

So today, it's time for a little tough love. The fact that you're here in my community means you have great gifts to share. You have something in your heart, calling you to make a bigger impact.

But as much as it’s calling and tugging at your heart, your energy and attention is on why you can’t have nor do it!

Wanna know how I know?

Because if you were truly committed and showing up, you’d already be making the kind of impact you want to make.

You probably already know that the results you currently have are nothing but a reflection of what’s happening internally. So if you don’t have it externally, then you’re not BEING it!

So, let me ask you… when will you STOP being selfish?

What I mean by being selfish is the fact that you're keeping your gifts and message to yourself! You have more faith in fear of judgement, failure and criticism than you have in showing up and helping others.

What is this costing you?

What is this costing the world?!

You may be thinking, ‘I’m just one person. There are others doing what I want to do, and they know much more than I do. They're doing it much better than I ever could!’

But here’s the thing… There are people WAITING to work and learn from YOU, exactly where you’re at. You have gifts, that'll be LOST to the world if you don’t have the courage to share it.

It’s easy to see just how selfish keeping your gifts to yourself is, is it not?

I get it, it’s scary to step out. It feels daunting not knowing exactly how to start and how others will respond to you.

But here’s something I know. Those ‘experts’ you admire… the ones you think are doing amazing things. They started exactly where you now stand.

Want to know the REAL difference between you and them?

They had the courage to show up and take imperfect action.

They were more committed to their message and helping others than the fear of what people thought. That is the real difference.

What benefits do you get holding back when people are struggling, looking for what you have to offer?

Where will you be by the end of the year or three years from now if you continue to hold back, working from this place?

How many people will you allow to continue to struggle and suffer because you’re choosing to play small? Choosing to be selfish with your gifts.

Sooner or later, you’ll come to recognize your work is BIGGER than you!

It’s bigger than your worries, doubts and fears.

It’s time to get out in your own way, step up and serve!
