What a week I just had!
Well, what an exciting week I just had. I did plan to have the second episode of My Empowered Living TV today, but I wanted to use this time to say a big thank you and to share with you an incredible opportunity that I had this past week!
I am so grateful for all the feedback last week on the debut of My Empowered Living TV. It seems like the message "It does not need to be perfect, it just needs to be shared" really resonated with you.
I hope you took me up on my challenge and looked at something you felt might not be perfect, and had the courage to share it with others. Again, so often we wait for something to be perfect and not realize the impact that we have and can make on others just by sharing our gifts.
The other exciting thing I wanted to share was that I was a guest on Hay House Radio! My dear friend, Hay House Author and Host of Acts of Kindness show, Michael J. Chase invited me to be a guest as we discussed 'Creating the Life you Want'.
Being a part of Hay House has always been a dream of mine and I definitely was not expecting it so soon, and quite honestly, did not feel ready. However, I said a big YES, and I'm so happy I did!
I wanted to share my experience this past week, as I prepared for the show. Number one thing I did was to get really connected. Like I mentioned, there was a big part of me that felt neither ready nor worthy to be a part of Hay House.
This is something that many of us experience whenever something great comes into our life. Oftentimes, we let this negative feeling sabotage our results. I recognized this, and got to work by meditation, tapping (EFT), and working to remove the feelings of unworthiness (this is constant work no matter how far you've come!).
My biggest intention and prayer was that I be used as a vessel and allow God/Universe to work through me and inspire and help the listeners of the show. I prayed to take my 'ego' out of the equation and not 'make' anything happen, but rather to be in the flow and be fully present in the experience.
I said a prayer right before and then said a passage from A Course in Miracles which I say every Sunday when I write and send this weekly email to you. Which is:
"I am only here to be truly helpful. I am here to represent Him who sent me. I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do, because He Who sent me will direct me. I am content to be wherever He wishes, knowing He goes there with me. I will be healed as I let Him teach me to heal.”
