7 Strategies if you're Overwhelmed, Angry and Anxious

I shared a message on my personal Facebook page that resonated with many people, so I want to share it with you today.

My message was in response to all the feelings of frustrations, anger and despair that filled my Facebook feed in response to new restrictions in my province of Ontario Canada.

I shared about the importance of seeking support and taking advantage of possible health benefits that may cover it.

I know my community is filled with entrepreneurs who may or may not have coverage, but if you or your partner has coverage for therapy, PLEASE schedule something in!

Even if you feel you’re ok and don’t need it, take advantage of the services and focus on yourself right now.

There’s so much angst, which is absolutely understandable. Again, even if you feel you’re doing ok, the collective energy will influence YOUR energy.

Personally, I reached out to my husband’s EAP (Employee Assistance Program) to get a therapist.

Why am I sharing this?

Because I want to NORMALIZE THERAPY!

There shouldn't be any shame or guilt around therapy!

We. All. Need. It!

Yes, right now personally and financially I’m doing great. My business has had amazing growth and I’ve had great opportunities helping others build their business and also with their mental mastery.

HOWEVER...

I am a mom, wife and have clients all over the world that depends on me. I have young kids starting online school tomorrow and I know how challenging it felt the last time, trying to manage their learning and my business.

I also feel the collective energy, and in the past I’ve taken in on and let it affect MY energy.

Plus, I’ve been dealing with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for as long as I can remember, and these energies tend to trigger it. I want to make sure I continue to show up for myself, my family, my clients and those who depend on me.

Your mental health matters!

There are amazing practitioners that may be covered by your insurance. And if you don't have coverage, please invest in support.

Find someone who resonates with you and that you trust. You may be an energy healer and have Reiki training.

Don’t forget to utilize it on yourself.

This is in no way mental/medical advice, but I’d like to share some tools and strategies that've been amazing for me and my clients. They may help you during this time. Some include but not limited to...

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT aka tapping) - my go to! 
  • An ancient Hawaiian healing method called ho’oponopono
  • Meditation/visualization
  • Journaling 
  • Prayer (pray to spirit of your own understanding)
  • Join a support community 
  • Take Facebook app off your phone 

I know these times may not be easy. But you matter! Your goals, dreams and aspirations matter! In order for you to continue to create more wealth, impact and freedom, you need support!
