This pivotal question is a game changer!

I was watching a presentation by one of my mentors Marie Forleo and at the beginning of the presentation, she asked the audience a powerful question that I thought was absolutely brilliant.

She asked, “How would you behave if you were the best in the world at what you do?

Now I don’t know about you, but this question really hit home and made me stop and think.

When I stopped to think about that question and how I would behave, immediately I saw myself soaring with confidence and self-assurance! I saw myself raising my standards and helping those around me do the same.

I started taking better care of myself and trusting my decisions. From that perspective I raised my game, and was in a higher state of abundance and had complete faith in what I was doing and how I was doing it!

I didn't fret the small stuff, but let them go in order to focus on the big picture. It felt incredible just thinking about it!

This feeling is so important because unfortunately, there are so many people out there who love to tell us all the reasons why we can’t achieve our dreams. Or others that see us striving and reaching for our goals, and because it mirrors to them areas of their lives where they’re not playing full out; they criticize, judge, and try to bring us down.

However, when we see ourselves as world-class, those negative opinions does do not have the same impact on us.

Many times, we feel that we're not ready or feel like a fraud when we embark on living our dreams. A lot of this fear and self-doubt comes from a subconscious belief that we're not good enough.

However, when we come from the place of being world class, we soar with confidence. Will we still have fear? Of course! All the great leaders and teachers I've studied all admit to still having fearful thoughts one time or another.

However, when it comes, they recognize it for what it is and move on. Most of us on the other hand, let our fears paralyze us from taking action.

When you ask yourself  "how would I behave if I were the best in the world at what I do", you also become conscious of those that you associate yourself with and how you spend your time.

You will no longer tolerate people who deplete your energy. You also, no longer resist marketing yourself and sharing your gifts out of fear that you're not good enough and not measure up to the expectations of others. You now show up and give of yourself fully!

It is an amazing game changer that will help propel you forward and raise the standard and quality of what you deliver. You also look to take better care of yourself both physically and emotionally in order to sustain your energy.

The impact of this question can be seen in all areas of your life. If you knew you were the best parent, spouse, friend, etc., you will not easily let the voice of others impact your self worth.

The feeling that comes from asking this question is another powerful tool. Our feelings act as a magnet that draws things into our lives. Our outer experience is a direct reflection of what is going on inside of us.

If you start your day feeling and affirming, "I am the best in the world at what I do", you will take on that confidence and feeling. You could not help but attract that into your life. If you are able to take on this belief, you will come to experience circumstances and situations that will prove your belief to be correct.

So, I ask you now, how would you behave if you were the best in the world at what you do? Comment below and share with us!
